The Patio HomeStore® Return Policy.
The Patio HomeStore® offers free shipping on all domestic orders (in other words the lower 48) via UPS Ground shipping. Online shopping has grown but with many online stores, the return policy is in the dark ages. The Patio HomeStore® wants to make your transaction with us as smooth as if you went to the shopping just around the corner. You wont find any fine print in our return policy, but we do recommend that you read it thoroughly and carefully and call us if you have any questions.
How to Prepare a Return:
Returns must be requested in writing, prefereably by responding via email to your original order. Please email or call 1-888-564-4744 The Patio HomeStore® to request a Return Authorization Code and we will process your request within 1 business day. Our hours are 6:00 AM to midnight (Central) seven days a week. We will email you a instructions to use for your return. You will then package your return in the original packing, write the Return Authorization Code in bold letters and return to any UPS Store. You must follow these instructions carefully. Failure to do so will prevent the processing of your return, and delay your refund. If you choose to return the item at your expense, The Patio HomeStore® will not reimburse nor refund you the cost of shipping.
Please note that items which show signs of use or that have been altered or damaged in any way cannot be accepted for return. Returns to The Patio HomeStore® without a Return Authorization Code will be refused and customer will be responsible for return shipping costs. The Patio HomeStore® is not responsible for improperly packaged or uninsured items that are damaged during transit.
If delivery is refused, The Patio HomeStore® will not reimburse you for your order, nor refund you the cost of shipping. If you have any questions about this policy, please call us before placing your order at 888-564-4744. Use of our website consititutes acceptance of our shipping policy. We respect your choice not to accept our policies and your decision not to shop with us. The customer is responsible for all shipping costs, including the cost of original shipping to customer, if it's for a preference return. Also, the manufacturer may require a restocking fee and The Patio Homestore® promises to notify you upon receipt of Return Authorization Request if that is the case.

Holiday items and Items that have been customized are not-returnable without clear manufacturers defect. Please contact us at 888-564-5744 within 7 days of receipt and tell us what the problem is. We will do our very best to resolve the issue.
Returns after 30 days will be handled on a case by case basis. They may be exchanged or refunded with a merchandise gift certificate for the value of the original purchase price, less any discounts given on original order.
Discounted and promotional items that are returned under this policy will be reduced to reflect the value of any free gift or discount.
We cannot accept returns on monogrammed, personalized or Final Sale items.
Merchandise Gift Certificates are non-refundable unless required by State Law.
Some large and oversized merchandise items are not eligible for return due to prohibitive shipping costs or are subject to restocking and shipping and handling fees, including furniture, unless prohibited by State Law. Products will clearly state this if this is the case.
